Shaun Dutile (M.A.,PC)

Board Certified Christian Counselor (#0601)

M.A. Professional Counseling

B.A. Business Management, Vocational Ministry

Member American Association of Christian Counselors

A little about Shaun:

I have been married to my wife Marci for 23 years and have 5 children ages 8yrs to 20yrs. I performed my undergraduate work at Harding university in Business Management and Vocational Ministry. At the age of 26 I began my Master's work in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, changing my degree in 2010 to an MA in Professional Counseling.

Prior to moving to Laconia I spent 7 years in North Brunswick, NJ shepherding an outstanding church. Our time in NJ was a definite stretching experience for us, one we would not take back. Stretching usually contributes to growth! In May 2015 I completed my Master's program in Professional Counseling and although I believe counseling is a gift, therapy & counseling education was certainly a tool I needed to grow in my gifts.

In addition to my counseling practice, I pastor the Water's Edge Church in Laconia, NH, serve as the NH State Rep for Celebrate Recovery (a ministry of Water's Edge), and serve as the Chaplain for the Gilford Police Department. More important than my counseling education and pastoral experience however, I believe my faith in Jesus has best prepared me to help hurting people. Jesus as the Great Physician desires all people become whole again. Whether you seek individual, family or marital counseling, whether you are a Christian or not, I believe you will find the help you need at New Hope- A Christian Counseling Place.

Stephany Cameron (M.A., Pastoral Counseling (Crisis & Trauma)

Board Certified Christian Counselor (#782)

M.A. Pastoral Counseling (Crisis and Trauma)

BA Sociology

Elijah House Inner Healing Prayer Ministry; GriefShare Ministry

A little about Stephany:

I’m so glad you have decided to seek counseling. You may feel uncertain about talking with someone you don’t know, so here is a bit about my background.

My undergraduate work was completed at SUNY Geneseo, and I recently obtained my M.A. in Pastoral Counseling through Liberty University. I completed advanced training with Elijah House Inner Healing Prayer Ministries and am a registered GriefShare facilitator. I worked for over 25 years in education and 5+ years in mental health, and have served as a counselor in various ministry positions including Youth for Christ, Teen Challenge and Love INC of the Lakes Region. I have held many service and leadership positions in the local church and community. I work as Bereavement Coordinator/Counselor for a local hospice agency and serve as President of Love INC of the Lakes Region.

My late husband and I were married for 32 years, and I am a mother of four grown children with five young grandchildren. Does that make me old?! I am a very active person, avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast.

Not raised in a Christian home, I was “searching for answers” until I encountered Christ’s love as a teenager. This changed the trajectory of my life. Through all the years of marriage, parenting, losses, widowhood, and life crises, I have found faith in God and life in Christ to answer my hardest questions and my deepest pain. God is an expert at creating an amazing mosaic from the brokenness of our lives. He provides hope and new direction when dreams are shattered.

I hope to be able to share that hope with you and to help you find that “new direction.” I am here to come alongside as you seek answers for the struggles you are facing. Life has its share pain and challenges, but I have found God offers peace, healing, wisdom and strength. One thing I have learned is that our difficulties actually hold opportunity for change and growth. Together we can work toward this.

Nick Gianferante (MA, MFT)

Board Certified Christian Counselor

M.A. Marriage and Family Therapy

B.A. Youth and Family Ministry

A little about Nick:

I have been married to my wonderful wife, Morgan, since 2021, and we moved to New Hampshire in the Summer of 2023. In 2021, I received my Bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Bible and Family Ministries. Immediately following, I obtained my Master’s in Marriage,

Couples, and Family Counseling, in 2023.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and have spent much of my life visiting churches and participating in local New England Ministries. From working as a camp counselor to interning at churches over the summers, I am passionate about seeing God’s work carried out. My faith is a crucial part of my life, and I believe Christ has called me to start working and helping people find true healing. He is at the center of it all, and if we want to find wholeness, it must come through reliance upon Him.

After moving to New Hampshire in 2023, my wife and I started attending Water’s Edge, a Church of Christ. We love and appreciate the nature around us as well as the culture that comes with it. I’m thankful to be a part of God’s community and hopefully be part of your growth.
